6 hilly miles but desperatly slow on the climbs. I really need a fast run just to pick up my spirits

Just nipped round the Full Tour with one of the pups. Was very interesting in the ice and slush, especially on Geranimo in my smooth X-Talons!
Nevertheless, I nice temperature for running, around 5 degrees I made it, no wind.![]()
2 hours over Musberry heights around the Rossendale way, over Tor hill etc. Ground still frozen and very icy in places. Great!
9.75 miles from White Wells around Ilkley Moor. Very icey & slippy in places. My brother-in-law was fine in his home-made Orocs ! Got stopped near Keighley Gate by some walkers out looking for John Durkin, a local man, who has been missing for 2 days:

Fingers crossed for him.
Hope he turns up safe.
3m sorry excuse for a run, felt terrible, hope i can get fit by late January for the Hebden.
No they didn't mate. They were sticking to the main path by the masts from Keighley Gate. Chances are that's been well trodden over the last couple of days. More likely he's somewhere less obvious. They said mountain rescue were now involved. Thing is, it's very slippy out there & easy to take a fall. Hopefully he'll turn up safe.
I'll take a look anyhow and see if anything turns up. Always a shame to hear when people are missing.
4mile / c 800ft social run out last night from the White Lion, Kildwick. Stef, Hamertime and me were ably led by Antisocial, who was on good form![]()
