I think the list on facebook is in alphabetical order, not order of entry, so later entries are surnames K-Z.
Oops! you are correct, did not look at the names properly.

Just back from a recce of the first half - beautiful day for it. First time i'm doing this race: probably stupid question, but is the top of Mam Tor a CP or is it Mam Nick? And how many people typically fail to meet the 2:30 cut-off....??
The cut-off is at Man Nick probably about 1 - 2 mins from the summit. I think 10-20 people may not make the cut most years although in 2007 50+ didn't make it beyond Mam Nick for various reasons.

Thanks for your optimism! But blimey, that climb up loose hill from hope is long. You've got more more faith than me...But can you confirm if there is a checkpoint on the top of Mam tor? Cause if there isn't, you could stay level by skirting around the right?
