for all you chubby chaps, (no chapeses?) latest Mens Running mag out, article 'drop 10lbs in 30 days'. to save you £4:20, to sum it up-run more, eat less, eat right, use weights, yeah right! personally, 10st 10lbs-5ft 11" and have been so all year, all I do is run and drink beer AND eat everything I can lay my hands on.
PS- does anyone no what I did boxing day to be shunned by Mrs. O and little Os?
Oh dear OBNW. Are you in trouble for an unknown incident?
I am 5'10" and a lardy 10stone 10lbs ish...(THERE I SAID IT!)
I was perfectly happy with my former 10st 4lb ish self, so that's the target...not drinking in January (not including today - the Xmas beers need finishing!), and should find more time for running while I am working on the doorstep. I even ran today, hangover and all. Let's get rid of this lard!
5ft 8 62kilos . you can run as far as you like but the only way to shift it is to eat less lard .
12st 13lb this morning (181lb)
6'1" and broad framed, so not too much excess
determined to get down to 12-4 (172lb) by mid-May...![]()
6'4'' 165lb but a crap runner nevertheless
Am I the only person who is not worried about their weight ??
I am always between 192 - 196lbs and I am not honestly fussed or focused on my weight - I am 6' 0.5". Over Christmas I have gone to 197lbs but that will disappear by the time I am back to work on Tuesday.
Perhaps I am lucky but my weight has never really been affected - even when I have gone long periods without exercise and generally eaten crap food - nothing more than 4 - 6lbs anyway.
I've worked hard this year. Cut out lots of food and trained hard on the bike.
Down to 62 kilos and I'm about 5 ft 6.
I've re learned to eat again. I use to think all I could have was pasta. Not eaten any since September. Running and cycling better than I have for years.
I've found a formula that works for me but had a lot of help as well.
Learned a long time ago that new years resolutions rarely last.
Good luck all.
