    Re: Todays Bike Ride

I have a spair gear cable in my sadle bag. Not much weight and I am no single speed rider so don't want to get caught out too far from home with a broken one.

Happy New Year to you too Daz, and to everyone else!

I should hear about the knee tomorrow, had my MRI on Thursday... fingers crossed it can be repaired and I can get back to cycling and running...

    Yes I saw that Dom
    Very sad news indeed

And if you look at those statistics for London, 54 deaths since the start of 2007. Tragic.
Although the figures are coming down, one is too many.

Please be careful out there and above all make sure your well lit up and wear bright clothing.

A steady 32 miles , it was mega windy today but I crammed in eighteen decent local climbs and made sure I sat down up all of them.
Nice and dry and the sun came out.

What are the training benefits of sitting down as opposed to standing up? Or could you just not be arsed to stand up?
