Well... I had an argument with the boss earlier and stomped around the building for a bit - if that counts?

    Re: Today's Training

Tried a set of Tabata intervals last night, warmed up for about a mile then ran 8 x 20secs flat out with 10secs rest (slow jog) in between. Slightly spoilt by running out of hill and having to do the remaining intervals on flat and then partially down the hill I was intending to run down as a warm down. But never mind, still a good short workout.

I'll use them again but I'll get a better longer hill next time so I can give it a proper effort.

Nice and steady 22miles 5000ft this morning/aft. Was pretty windy on the exposed tops! Took 4 hours, ended feeling strong, which I didn't expect. Bath then darts on TV now

Nice easy paced run out over Wimberry to Stable Stones Brow, descent and back via Waterside Mill - great little outing, bumped into TurboT on way out there.

with a Ruggedness of Dark Peakers (yes that is the correct collective noun )

Set off at 8.00am in thick clag rain then snow from Snake Inn

My target was a half "Dozen" going Anti Clockwise. Bitingly cold with verglas coating all the rocks. it was well below zero in the wind.

From Grindslow I returned via Kinder gates and the Ammo box(6 visits today already)

18 miles 5000ft very tough going. left 5 others to continue on to hopefully complete a the full dozen but the conditions did not look favourable
