    hi there - I'm going to do leg 5 tomorrow afternoon - does anyone know if there is somewhere to park on the main road in the valley bottom near the start? is it whitworth, market street? or where is the best place to park a car? ta

    You should be able to park just off the main road, up a side street, at the point where the route crosses it. I found that the trickiest part of that leg is from the change over point down to main road.

    According to the latest news, this diversion is no longer in operation. Good luck tomorrow, one and all. Looking forward to my first intro to this event, pottering around leg 2.

    I prefer this relay to Calderdale. The more relaxed mass start times mean that the majority of teams can actually take part
    in a relay rather than a series of mass starts. See you all tommorrow. Leg 4 for me
