I'm doing it as a sponsored event - never done one before so thought I'd give it a go.
It's taken me about 2 hours to work out how to get my justgiving site sorted - it's not fair some of us are just rubbish with computers
Anyway, it's for my sons charity and there is info on my site!!

I really wouldn't recommend camping at Stonethwaite, this is the worst place I have ever camped by a long way. Its wasn't so much the basic facilities as the people they allow in there. Stayed there planning on a recce during summer last year and we were kept awake until after 4am by groups of chavs getting seriously drunk and playing very loud music out of the back of their hatchbacks.
We stayed at the one run by the 'mad lady' for the race weekend last year. I think its called Chapel House Farm. Its right on the race route. We got there about 5pm Friday before the race and didn't have any trouble parking but people turning up later on did have more problems.
