Nice run out in the Lomonds in the depths of Fife, with good light and a dusting of snow up top. 10 miles, 3035ft ascent

15 miles. Saltaire(work !), 3 miles along the canal to Baildon where I picked up The Rombalds Stride route. Up over Baildon Moors & followed the route as far as Ilkley. Lovely bracing day. The ground was interesting. The mud had a thin layer of ice on it, so it was like running on a creme brulee.

There lovely those Lomonds. I dont think that I would have ever visited had it not been for the FRA relays last year. Have you ever done the Pentland Skyline race? We had a bash up the Pentland's the day after the relays and was very tempted.

Lovely run in sunshine. Was wearing too much and very sweaty but great to be out. Struggled as am now not as fit as I was and now have sore L hip and sore R knee. Seems in 50th year I am destined to fall apart

6 hours house removal job, plenty of stair reps and weight training, knackered now, need a dog walk recovery session!

Can't see this type of training catching on.
