Regarding the owners, if you'd watched the interviews with Hicks on tuesday you'd have seen that he was a genuine sports fan and his nationality shouldn't be an issue. I suggest that anti-american comments on here are resentment based on the fact that the Glazers won't invest in players the way other foreign owners have.

Also, maybe grow up a bit, it is ONLY a game afterall, plenty more important things to think about.

Glazer is going to ruin Utd - look at the 25% increase in season ticket prices over the last 2 years. Whilst other clubs are freezing or reducing ticket prices in line with the increased TV revenue, the greedy b*stards are trying to fleece Utd supporters out of every penny. I've made my stand which is why I'm watching FCUM - not one penny more.

Exactly the same will happen at Liverpool, mark my words. There is already talk amongst Liverpool fans of setting up a similar fans own club:
