when I used to go to a gym they had one programme on the running machine that was hell.

30 minute programme started at 10kph on the flat, it went up .5 degree every 30 seconds to 15 degrees then it started to increase speed by .5kph every minute up to 15 kph then you had to hang on.......Bloody hard!

Nice mid-afternoon jaunt up Wimberry, descent from Stable Stones Brow and back through the Plantation home...quick 'hello' to Sally Newman who was heading into The Chew via the Plantation, when I was heading home....Great little outing....

22mile recce of Trollers Trot course taking in Threshfield moor, Winterburn reservoir, Hetton, Rylstones, Barden Moor, Upper and Lower Barden Reservoirs and the dales way along the wharfe past Appletreewick, Burnsall, Linton and Grassington. Great weather and a good run. 3:20 running (although I did stop twice for 10mins for a bit of refuelling)

Don't do gyms any more, havent been for 3 years, not enough ventilation, with people working hard in a warm enviroment meant regular chest problems...

    Re: Today's Training

Just done a 2 hr dog walk. Got the runs: the dog that is, not me! Any running vets out there? Tried fasting and the chicken and rice trick. How do you stop them eating grass? Probably how she's picked up the bug.
