I'm afraid I don't know who is a member?
very fair point wheeze![]()
So, Brett, how do you know that some of those voting are not FRA members? I did ask that non members abstain from voting. Do we have to take this on trust (an old fashioned value, I know)
Somebody mentioned they weren't a member on another thread, some I know aren't members

Just my luck www.wfra.org.uk website is down!! Suspect it's being loaded up with yesterday's Cader Idris results.
OK the Cader results aren't there yet but there's nice piccys of Richie and Anna in winning mode!
It's now the 28th of May, so it seems likely that the majority of people who are going to vote in the postal ballot will have done so by now. Therefore, this posting is not designed to sway any waverers - the ins and outs of the debate were actually done to death last year. Rather, the post will ask rather obvious questions: given that the ballot paper contained both the name and the membership number of each person it seems reasonable to assume that computing will be used to make sure that votes are not counted twice. Otherwise it seems bizarre to have all that information on the paper and how else will the counter(s) know if a paper has been copied? That being the case can we have two columns next to the names of those who voted, one with Y(es) and the other N(o) recapitulating the ballot questions? Further, will this be made available for inspection by the membership? This is not a secret ballot, neither should it be - votes cast at an AGM/EGM are done so in the open.
Personally, I burst out laughing when I read the ballot paper...
