    Fantastic footage and wonderfully composed, loved the wide shots of the mist lifting off the hills. How close were you able to get for the shots near the pier ?

    Had a large owl swooping around my head a couple of times on my hill rep session last night (Sheffield Porter Valley area - in the car park next to the NHS building in Fulwood for any locals). Couldn't identify it for repeated tentative ducking out of the way, but later heard Tawny Owl calls in the same spot. Don't think it was attacking, just interested in my new headtorch...

    A flock of perhaps 20 waxwings right in the centre of Leeds this morning. Second time I've seen some this winter (last lot weren't far from home) but I've still not had a proper look at any

    just been watching a pair of jackdaws defending a nestbox from a pair of kestrels - with a bit of help from some nearby crows!

    Spotted my 1st ever waxwing in Bingley on Sunday. Watched a sparrowhawk take down a blackbird in friends garden yesterday in Steeton.
