Horsforth Beer festival tonight so a range of halves from a range of Yorkshire breweries - best I had was the Landlords Friend Brewery's Mr Hough (from Halifax), least exciting was the Crown Brewery (Sheffield) Hillsborough Pale - that'll teach me to go for something described as having flowery head and petal undertones!!

    Some new ones last night...

    Salopian - Oracle
    Ironbridge - Forge
    Mercian - Beowulf
    Broughs - Gold

Salopian by far the best. Have tried Shropshire Gold, Hop Twizzler and Oracle from them now, and all are top notch ales.
