There's accomodation at the pub and some B&B's in Horton which you can get by googling. The camp site in Horton is relatively small and fills up very quickly most weekends with 3P walkers, let alone the fell race weekend so I suspect its already full. I think the pub down the road towards Settle at Helwith Bridge lets people camp in their 'sheep field' but failing that the camp site at Stainforth (Knight Stainforth Hall) a couple of miles nearer Settle is a good one.

Knight Stainforth Hall is a top campsite, great shower block, there's another campsite on the main road between Settle and Ingleton near Austick.

Lucky you. A mate of mine couldn't stomach his leathery blackened burger so fed it to someone else's dog. The dog wolfed it down then, after a short pause, barfed the whole lot up again!
Better stick with the butties from the pavilion, much safer!

I'm getting to that familiar point of being worried I haven't done enough and yet it's too late to change it now. Last long run this weekend (doing Rombalds route again) and then a couple of short races between now and then :w00t:

Sat am is most likely at the min. Wife is poorly though so might be out tomorrow instead. If I go out saturday I'll be setting out early doors (probably 7ish) so will be up on the main Rombalds moor from 8 onwards
