    I'm going to try and go for a run tonight!

    After a night eating chocolate and drinking red wine yesterday (thou I didn't sucumb to watching sex in the city)

    So I'm off to the local park to try a couple of laps!
    Here's hoping!

    Track last night

    200m sprint 30 sec recovery then 1km efforts
    x 4

    decided to get it all over with in the first set and go off like a bat out of hell! At least I achieved my positive split!!

    90mins run...... in the fells!!!!!

    i know, i know ,not like me eh?
    Noticed that next Wednesday is Blencathra fell race so decided to go over that way to get some terrain practice in as it must be a good 4 months or so since i last was on the fells.

    I dont know what the race route is but I know where it starts and I know where the summit is (land finishes, clouds start) so I must have been over at least part of the course tonight.

    Monday 9 miles including Austwick Amble.

    Tuesday - nowt - was worried about having to contribute to today's injuries thread again following left calf cramping up about 300 metres from race finish on monday .

    Today - an easy mostly flat 3.25 miles - both calves tight but no problems while running.

    well went for my run!

    Managed about 350 yards!

    Knee started to hurt so packed it in and went out on my bike for an hour!

    Wasn't as bad as before so think its on the mend, just think it might take another couple of weeks!

    On the plus side I'm racking up loads of miles on the bike!

    A little 3 mile hilly run to tempt the hamstring back to full working order and then a great 100 miler on the bike at just under 19mph average. Stayed dry and sunny all the way
