Lots of pics online already http://eskvalleyfellclub.org/piwigo_...p?/category/17

Good to meet you Rev, well done with your 5th Place finish, didn't realise you were also out partying before hand:w00t: and then cycle there and back, pretty hardcore that:thumbup:

Enjoyable race, super weather and views

I get that too NB...isn't it frustrating? You come back full of inspiration but once normality kicks in the drive to 'make' starts to go. Luckily my immediate surroundings are pretty inspirational these days.

(I'm sorry too for diverting from the thread! )

    (sorry for thread nicking) ((again))

I knew I shouldn't have looked....that was my worst category position in the whole series. I'm glad I wasn't relying on this race as one of my 6.

Finished 3rd in my age category and 17th girl overall and did 9 of the 13 races. In at the deep end for me...! I'd never raced 'off-road' before the Viking Chase and only trained off road under 'orders'.

What fun. See you all in October to do it all again.

Hard luck there FF, everyone has the odd bad race from time to time and considering how little off road races you've done, I wouldn't worry too much.

41st place for me in 1hr 42, really enjoyable race overall, loved the views:thumbup:

That's cos I'm quite good at drawing

Well done to everyone on their race times and also to those of us who just completed the series, I'm quite pleased with my efforts. Fairyfeet, come and do some of the summer series if you get a chance, there are some lovely races. You should come to Carlton Bank and collect your certificate anyway!

Mountain Goatess also suggested Fairfield as a good race to do, think its on the 15th May.

Dont worry about any poor runs ff, just strive to do better next time and well done for getting the series done, a good achievement in itself, like hes said you should try a few summer series races, some really good ones, especially carlton- i love that one
