Re: Hello! I'm new to *everyth
Hi,
my 1st ever post - so be nice please
Yomper, as a reletively newbie to the world of fell, I've been suffering some tendon troubles with my feet / lower leg too. From what you're describing it sounds like all the lateral movement has inflamed your flexor digi longus which work opposite to the peronaeus muscles to lift / scrunch the toes. I've had trouble with one foot & the toes going numb, pain up the outside of my lower leg, pain ontop of the foot. Went to see a good sports fizz, who told me I've got a hyper-mobile right ankle, hence the extended movements & soreness aorund my lower leg / foot.
It probably wasn't helped by doing a fell race nearly every 2 weeks since October, but hey ho! Now that the last one of the winter series is over (Gisborough Moors - cracking!), I can rest up a bit
Cheers, make of this what you will..............
