Fantatsic day on Saturday.
Really enjoyed the race up Penyghent, onto Ribblehead and up Whernside, and even up to Ingleborough I was really enjoying it, but from then on its got really tough, and that last long run down back to Horton, bloody 'ell it goes on forever, just as your legs are bolloxed 'n all. Got a PB tho so it was all worth it. Could've done with it been a bit less windy tho, but hey, its the 5th time I've done it and every time the weather's been great, one of these years it's gonna be horrendous, were certainly due atrocius conditions, thankfully it wasn't Saturday.
Presentation was enjoyable and emotional also, with great speeches from Allan Greenwood and first 3 peaks winner Fred Bagley.
Also enjoyed the live band, a shame more people didn't stay for them, but they were good, hats off to the dancers on the tables at the front, very entertaining.
A Big Thank You to all the organisers for a wonderful day, and congratulations to all finishers.
