Hill reps at Box Hill.
It's 250m up steep steps, 50m down the other side to get a quick threshold burst back up, then back in the oppo direction.
2 x 5 reps, all ran - each rep taking about 13 mins from bottom to top and back to bottom.

14 miles this morning round the Leeds country way, Ebor way and Harewood in 1hr 50. Had a crap run though, needed the bog from about halfway (I'm sure you all wanted to know that) and couldn't relax, got cold in the wind and just overall felt a bit poor. Still, the distance is now in the bank so to speak and I have had a toughish training week so not entirely a surprise. Feeling better after a few coffees and some grub though![]()
First run today after Fairfield race on Saturday, legs still felt sore descending
Still no pain and all that.... Managed a steady 8 miler with 1900ft in 85mins.

2 miles front crawl in the pool last night. 9 mile club run from Skipton tonight up Sharp Haw (?).

Hi Rob, I'd be very interested in a route description, as this is my favourite long run training ground. In return, I might be able to suggest a few useful bushes for disappearing behind along the way.
[QUOTE=Alexandra;411569]Plenty of bushes in the Eccup/Harewood/East Keswick sections of the LCW & EW - or so I noticed last Friday
Today -just under 2 hours from Cow and Calf starting out by heading west taking in Swastika Stone then up to High Crag from Pipers Crag, across the marsh to the Buck Stones then along to the trig point & 12 apostles before hitting the main track along Burley Moor then back along Ebor Way from Birks Crag.
Nice and quiet up there
17 miles with 4100ft ascent, very very very easy paced. Did 10 before hooking onto the club run, then sauntered back after parting company on the hill.
Opted out of the club run last night. Went up onto Bingley & Baildon Moor for a fast 8.25 miler. Some lovely fine, cooling drizzle just shy of 12 Apostles. Got back in time for the footy too !
cycling, racing and running are really good and conventional way to maintain the health..
These exercises really helps to burn the calories..
I never knew that, may start doing some cycling, racing and running if i can find the time between cycling, racing and running!
