Al Fowler ran a blinder last year, clashes with bofra Sedbergh though, can't do 'em both on the bounce!

I've done this twice, possibly three times. It suited me quite well, but it seemed quite easy to get the wrong line on the way down. I'm sure a number of us did both years. Worth noting where you join the ridge on the wya up so that you leave it at right point on the way down. And don't drift to far left as you go down the ridge. Of course, there may be a procession of people to follow.

bye eck it was wet + slippery underfoot up there today, didnt climb well or decend to well either for that matter mr jebb seemed to be on higher ground (on route to victory) on decent than me, i seemed to be running through bog after bog couldnt gain any speed then found myself above a crag n had to double back!
o well il no for next year.

Was up running round Buttermere and Ennerdale today and all I could see in Glaramara's direction was rain and cloud! Did consider doing it but needed to get a long run in for training.
