we had some electrical maintenance last night daz, so the whole power was shut down
we had to pedal all night to keep bbc1, bbc2 and local radio across the whole midlands on the air

unfortunately our vision mixer control didn't like being shut down all night and so we have spent the last 5 hours trying to fix it still work in progress

Tell you what, I have put the 2 senior engineers to shame this morning, I had better get a bloody pay rise

i remember when we shut down no2 mixer 4 hrs before midnight way back i 1999,
when this happens at our place just get out the big hammer
seriously though keep the one over on the engineers in your mind , always handy for later

yes , a good battle for me with an erewash valley runner james, must have passed each other a dozen times which is rare in that race

ha you only had 2 hrs kip
well last night my bloody lad got hold of a bottle of peroni out he shed and was sick as a dog
finally got him to bed at 2.00am
just about to go to sleep and amanda came in at 3.00am and started eating bloody crisps in bed
crunch munch crunch

and tonight one hill you will have gone past sleep , you will never be the same again

Survived the race! (Coniston Gullies). Nice humid day and steep climb and interesting gully / scree descent. Just good to be back racing again A few forumiters there (Harry H won the race, had a chat with JJ's Chris, Wycoller, Grifter et al ) but good job prize giving was on the finish field so everyone was still there when I got back!
