    Andorra La Vella routes

Hello from Andorra La Vella, coincidently.
I went up Bony De La Pica and Pic d'Enclar. Found most of the 2nd half of Bony a tough (steep scree) introduction to the Pyrenees, it was also a very tough decent in trail shoes. I was hoping for some suggestions on less technical routes. I was looking at Bony de les Neres next. Any good?

Also any suggestions of routes in the Font Romeu area would be welcomed.

Replying to my own post is a bit odd but anyway.

I knew I was clutching at straws. I will choose with a calculated guess.

I'm heading to the Pyrenees on holiday this summer so have been looking around for runable routes, but haven't really had much luck myself!

As we only live 45 mins away from Andorra La Vella in the French Pyrenees we can help you with routes. There are literally hundreds of well sign-posted, fantastic paths to choose from. We run regularly in the area from Ordino to Pas de la Casa. Let us know what you are wanting from a run e.g. time, distance, climb and we will help you the best we can. We were running in the mountains above the Val d'Incles last week.

If you read the Fellrunner you might have seen stuff on us www.pyrenees-haven.com

You don't have to holiday with us we are more than happy to share our experiences in Andorra and the French Pyrenees and help with routes and any other more general stuff.

    Re: Andorra La Vella routes

    Thanks for the offer.
I am moving today from Andorra la Vella to Hutopia campsite in Font Romeu. Once I get to a spot, I like to leave the car parked and run to the nearest hills. Although I would drive if necessary. So any good peaks around that area would be great. I have no idea of any of them yet, as I have been buying maps when I arrive at locations.

p.s I chose Tossa del Braibal for my run yesterday, at the end of Escalades, it was a much easier peak (2658m), but I turned back due to an electrical storm closing in.
