    Nah... you need Campag Record...

Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the gears, eleven, eleven, eleven and...

Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most gears go up to ten?

    Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.

Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's faster? Is it any faster?

Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one faster, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be spinning at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your bike. Where can you go from there? Where?

    Marty DiBergi: I don't know.

Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?

Marty DiBergi: Put it in eleven.

Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One faster.

Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten faster and make ten be the top number and make that a little faster?

Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

If you wanted Campag and were prepared to spend that sort of money surely you'd buy super record? And the ti option at that.

Its alright swapping to campagnolo but you have to think about your wheels, hubs etc.
Best to keep to the same manufacturer.

I saw a fabulous digital radio the other week styled like a miniature black Marshall amp. I checked the volume knob and it went up to eleven

As usual Daz is right If I went to Campag, I'd have to change all my wheels, ANd my other bikes... can't be doing that... Besides, I have ridden a bike with Campag record on it and it broke at the slightest touch... so apart from the fact that I don't like the way it shifts, it also broke hmmmmm...

63 miles on some undulating roads more or less doing a big loop crossing the Firth Of Tay crossing at Dundee and Perth. Good to be out after a rubbish couple of months and it felt easy
