    Oh forgot to add
Will do a few hundred sit ups.

Eavesy you mentioned your back before. Are your bars still low mate. Are you reaching too far.

If your back is aching you may be trying to walk before you can run. If your trying to blast along you can put pressure on your lower back if your body isnt adjusted to the rigours of riding for long distances.
It can happen easily if your out the saddle a lot on the climbs.

Try doing a ride a lot easier and not push to hard. If your back is okay after that it may be a case ofw just building it up steady mate

Tonight was the first time I've had lower back ache, in the past it was between my shoulders. I put the bars back up following your advice last time daz. Then recently made some changes and dropped them, I also raised the seat about 1cm. That resulted in a return of the shoulder twinge. So this evening I raised the bars and lowered the seat post by 0.5cm. No problem with the shoulders at all, just a lower back twinge. Now I have done quite a bit of climbing over the past 2 days, some of which had to be out of the saddle as I wasn't getting up the hills any other way. So maybe it's just that. Could the seat also be a little high? The other previous problems such as wrist ache have long gone, and I don't feel too stretched out and always change my position on the bike regularly.

It can take a while to set your position
Are you streching as you ride. It may be the climbing. What sprocket are you climbing in.

Not stretching as I ride. Sprocket varies depending on the hills, but it's 34/28 on the steep stuff, and mid cassette on the easier stuff.
