Base Brown has around 38m reascent and is a significant dog leg. Compare that to Coomb Height (back of Skiddaw) which is an extra top to men's records. It has a few metres reascent and it demands hardly any additional time to get to it. The fact is that whoever establishes a new record can choose any hills to include in it.
