    Re: Todays Bike Ride

Ratfink, I have been doing 20 minutes at lactate treshold, in blocks of 5 minutes at 50-60 cadence at 160 beats alteranted with 110 cadence at 160 beats... He said Wednesday that I had to do 30 minutes today, but just checked to see how my rest day was yesterday and has decided I have to do 40 minutes... I tried getting out on the road, but that is not the same, as you get too much 'rest' in the 40 minutes, so out on the turbo I shall be... Think the man wants me dead

Sorted out a training route localy with mostly hilly road with the 3 peaks in mind(get out anough on the fell with the bike) but taking in longridge fell and a nice rough muddy rocky drop through the woods from the trig, 25 mile about close to 3000+ft climb

Some guy with a very very clean high end road bike who I past said "maby its about time you got a new bike"
As i was ghost shifting with a mech n chain caked in mud
Big ponce I thought stick to the road

Nice gentle ride to work 63 minutes.
In the saddle all the way, using the gears and spinning the legs.
    Still tender from Saturdays race.

Properly blew up this morning on the holmfirth road. Been pushing with another cyclist all the way until I passed the Huntsman and I got wobbly leg syndrome.

Was that heading back over to greenfield Tom? Where had you been before? You want to try some of the little killer back and side roads around holmfirth. The one that goes past the vineyard is a real killer.
