Hiya
What a great race that was, really enjoyed it, ran my Ingleborough last year and came in in 1h 6, ran it again this year and came in under the hour at 58 mins, so happy with that and that was my 1st fell run of this year, I reckon I can slice off a few more minutes next time?may be?
Slightly disappointed with the lack of any water at the end, last year there was just a bin filled with water (that'll do me) and didn't even have that this time, none the less I'll be back next year!!!!

Dear All.
This is a question about the Gala more then the race (I think).
I was looking at the FRA race page and it states that no dogs are allowed in the field.
Is this in the race (running with you) or in the gala (sniffing around the event)?

Does the race take the bridleway right to the top does anyone know please?
Dear All.
Does anyone have a map of the Ingleborough route?
I think there was a link on this thread from 2007 , however, it doesn't seem to take me to a map.

Looks like an out and back, up and down job from Map my Run. Shame about no dogs in the field, I wanted to take Buster along with the Mrs.
Haven't done this one before. Would people recommend Racing Flats or X-Talons?? Not sure if it's all on rocky bridleways or whether there's some genuine fell terrain involved.
