i did it last year, i have to say one of the hardest things ive done.. mainly as you dont really get chance to recover.

my advice would be to work out a strategy so you get some sleep..
we did 1 leg each then split the team into two, so one half got a longer rest whilst the other ran two legs with a quick turn around, then vice versa.it worked well although i think we should have done two legs initially.

are you doing 5man or 8 man team?

Running in an 8 man team, which came 2nd last year, so I suspect they have a good strategy worked out, I hope!

Whats the course like? I've heard its far from flat, which is good of course!

here is a "lap" i wouldnt say there is anything to worry about hill wise, but its really twisty turny and lots of tree roots. the twists and turns can get quite disorientating in the dark

Is this the one in Catton Park? I'm only a couple of miles away - might go and hurl some abuse from the sidelines!

Ah cool, cheers for the map! Nothing major then, but like you say, will be tricky in the dark!

Looking forward to it! See you there.
