    Re: High Peak 40 Challenge

Well, I was a High peak virgin and really enjoyed the route (except Flagg Lane, but I had been warned!).
I've had a couple of very bad days at the office in quite recent events (OCT and Bradwell), so needed a steady away day with no keeling over or vomiting. I managed just that, and must compliment the checkpoint folk for their steadfast humour and provision of bananas and flapjack.
Karen; Pain in the proverbial about your result. Surely it can be changed?

Sorry not to have met you on the day Karen as I've seen your name on this forum in various threads for what seems like years. No doubt we've been at the same events as well!

Any joy sorting out the results yet? I did notice you didn't figure in any of the ladies categories.

Have emailed him and said I am NOT a vet man
Guess he is busy and feels in need of a rest after all the organising etc

Karen, I take it that you have now received the full results list by email. They have thankfully corrected it. You are now officially a lady.

Still had me running for Walton instead of Walton chasers orienteering club. Oh well, they can't get everything right

Poor guy had problems with the web site so could not update things at first even where he knew there were errors.
Sent me the remaining prize in the post. I was mainly bothered in case it was missed by the ultra series people, although having run faster than last year I actually got fewer points because the winner went even faster.
Glad I am officially female again!

I'm guessing your prize wasn't a CD of Billy Joel's "She's always a woman to me"
