    Re: Tonight's Real Ale

    just come across this: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Produ.../?id=267465288
Tescos Finest American Double IPA. Brewed by Brewdog and is the same as their Hardcore IPA but in a different bottle and the real bonus it's 60p (at least) a bottle cheaper and on 3 for 2 at the moment, making it a bargain £1.30 a bottle.

    cheers!

I have to disagree there, Aberdeen is no distance at all! Well.. it wasn't when I was working there on company expenses!

    an evening of hop-a-rama!

Victory - Hopdevil - 9/10 . beautiful. everything was great, colour, smell, taste
Hardknott - Infra Red - first half 6/10, second half 7/10. flavours got much more mellow and complex the further down the glass I went
    Buxton Brewery - Axe Edge - 7/10
Stone Brewing Co. - Ruination IPA - 7/10 - very dry and bitter but very hoppy. lovely colour. seemed very thick

Just back from hols in Cornwall where I didn't drink much real ale.

However, one holiday was not quite enough so we are going to Castleton tomorrow for a couple of nights. I will be on the ale :closed:
