(Sam you didn't miss a checkpoint did you - that seems to have been my problem in recent weeks!)

Not to my knowledge, at least I went the same route as everyone around me! Ah well.

Last year, the same happened to a few runners, Rob from Buckley was listed that way

I've done some cycling events before but this was not only my first fell race but also my first running event so I've nothing to compare it with however I thought it was great, really enjoyed the day and the crowds were very kind and inspiring. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Anyone doing this tomorrow? I've just got back from a month in the Alps and Pyrenees so am approaching with caution as, whilst my hauling-a-heavy-rucksack-up-ridiculously-steep-snow-slopes legs are in good shape, my running legs might not necessarily be so!

I'll be there along with a cohort from Pensby. My running legs are never in good shape!

A great race as usual, thanks to the organisers/marshals/vast numbers of MRTs out there today. As I say every year, need to work on my climbs and on not letting my dad beat me by quite as much! Maybe in another 10years when he's a V70 I'll be able to get him....

Thoroughly enjoyed it today, managed to come 40 places higher than last year as well which definitely added to the enjoyment! Very well organised as per usual, definitely think the new route is an improvement on the old up-and-down, though it was a little slippy today.

Enjoyed today, straight up and straight down. Pleased with my shoes as well; had good fun coming down the mud and grass. Enjoyed the after-race teddy bear parachuting as well as the carton of Tropical Juice Drink. Anyone know where the results will pop up?

I'm guessing they'll be posted here http://cilcainshow.org.uk/page30.html or here http://www.wfra.org.uk/ over the next couple of days.Well marshalled as usual, but they really should sort out that finish.
