The very idea of ever describing Emily Batty as 'dead weight' is simply appalling. A Goddess in human form possibly or the epitome of desire almost certainly. However, and I am being entirely tongue in cheek because the wx is rubbish and work is dull, I still can't help but think that CX might be a doomed historical abnormality when we have carbon 29ers that do the XC bit so very well. But I will concede to not knowing my ar*se from my cx elbow. :-)

Great to see another fan of the lovely Miss Batty (although soon to be wed unfortunately)... try telling a Belgian that CX is a doomed historical abnormality though.

I don't know where Horton is, or which of the 3 Peaks we tackle first, but if I see you bimbling around the start area I may give you a spare inner-tube if that's okay.My hanger arrived, but on fitting it I noticed that my rear mech is disintegrating.
