Great stuff, my thanks to everyone involved. Still feeling pretty dehydrated though, wish I'd worn a cap.

Nice to meet you, Rodders, and thanks for the advice re: the Bog Monster, one of the chaps I found myself running with went up to his waist, by the time I'd got around the dry bits to help him he'd managed to drag himself out. I was very vigilant after that!
I hope your rib is ok.
Nice chatting to you too, pabc.
(burger went down a treat, spud needed another 10 mins).
Especially glad the bogmonster was largely asleep after forgetting my shoes and being lent some road trainers by a lovely lady called Sheila. Great race as usual, especially glad for the extra water available todaythough I think I am rather rosily sunburnt....
Fab day out.
Massive thanks to the organisers for letting me & Mrs Stagger set out on the long plod despite turning up at 9.30am thinking we were on a 10am start :w00t:
Brilliant day for it, lots of fun
No worries, I did ask around Joe to try and work out who you were but didn't find you!
I was the guy on carpark duty(the young fit one not the old......cuddly one)
Rodders did we speak today? so much stuff going on, We'll have to meet up for a trip over Howden some time.
Were you running with Rach Nobobs? I came over after you finished when you were sat by the wall.
Numpty![]()
Yes but at least you finished, we had some one start the long at 10.15!!!
Next year we will be a little more strict. no starting the long after 8.30. I knew you and Linda would get round no problem but we have to draw the line some where...
There were a few complaints over the lack of beer though... sorry
51 runners did the race won by Mick Stenton in a little over 2 hours (2.06.??) i think, with the last runner and sweep coming in in 4.10 ish.
very hot out there but stunning views we told the frech couple that October in the peak is always like this......
Hey up IDP.
