Yes we missed a trick there to take orders with possible drop off points at races or at Andy's pub in Thurlston.
I taped the fields on Friday Afternoon but the weather was so kind to us....

    Re: Grin and Bear it

The first time i have run this really enjoyed it !
I finished in about 2.50 took a wrong turn in the last fields and ended up on the road heading away from the barn so had to retrace my steps, reckon i would have got in 10 minuntes earlier - got to the barn and saw guys who i had been ahead of since cut gate tucking into the spread,(which was a great feed , thanks ! and felt a bit gutted!

I was going ok until the tarmac over Dunford Bridge which really got me , recovered a bit and fell in with three guys for the bit through the woods and along snittle lane, but then the last mile just lost it, got lost and felt sick! Veg lasagne sorted me out tho

Hi Jim, nice chatting with you after. I was one of the chaps you ran in with before you detour. Plonker! Still, just think of it that you got better value for money than us three

The results for the race will be out as soon as I get a spread sheet from Mark, the guy who was inputting all data, with names to go with race numbers.
As soon as I have done them I will post on here.

    Ha ha! I'm at 0:32.

There was someone going crazy with the camera at Fiddler's Green, does anyone know if, where and when those photos will be viewable on t'internet?
There are so few photos in existence of me running, and I was looking uber-cool in my old sun hat, it would be nice to see if I pop up.

Haha, glad to hear it, I managed to keep them clean until, well, Cut Gate when it was all on paths.... then sank upto my knees within about 3 mins of leaving the path!

That video is ace, although I'm concerned already about how much revenge the bogmonster is seeking to exact next year....

Joester, you wouldn't be the one early on in my album by any chance? If it is you I apologise for all of them being from behind. It wasn't because I enjoyed the view; you were too fast for me.

I uploaded my report on Ultraploddernick. Unfortunately Blogspot is broken yet again and does not allow comments on others' blogs, among other defects like not being able to log on in the first place. I did try many times to comment on yours, Mike D-H. It was good to run and chat with you before you finally left me for dead with 6 miles to go. Well done with your strong finish.

Good to see you too, IDP. Keep smiling. Thanks to all the team for a marvellous day.

Now where's this video I need to watch?
