...so, if I've got the basics of this nvl thing (non-verbal language?), one should never ask a dinner guest how the food is when they're actually eating it.
If you do, they immediately cover their mouth (...to avoid spraying other dinners with contents... ) and say something like..."mmm...lovely ".
Now, are they lying (hand to mouth would suggest so...) or just being driven by a higher etiquette?
