Depends which Lager it was I suppose!

I love a proper Czech/German/Slovakian Pilsner every now and again

Happened to pop into the Boat tonight. Some kind of beer tasting with food - Brew Dog.

Whilst I didn't participate in the event, there were six Brew Dogs on offer. The Trashy Blond was so good I had two!

Second best beer in the country!

You should have been head torching with me. I went up through Spring Crag wood by myself. It was very spooky.

Well then, popped to the festival tonight, and to be honest, can't really remember many as I started at one end of the bar and made my way round....stand outs are as follows:

Hesketh Newmarket - Doris' 90th (Apparently brewed in memory of a 93 year old fell walking lady)
    Marble - Pint
    Shardlow - Whistle Stop

    and many many more...

All washed down with a Macallan single.

Will be going tomorrow and will report back.

    Marble - fabulous.

Went to the Marble Bar a while ago was about to buy a bottle of Marble Belgium beer equivalent - until I saw the price!!

    The draught beers were amazing.

wow 6! lets hope they have the same when the same show hits Harrogate next week.

    Anyway onto last nights beer.

Odell Brewery : Cutthroat Porter. extemely palatable! big coffee up front and slighty smokiness on the finish. maybe a tad thin. (7/10)

    Agreed Brett. It's the business.

I first drank Marble at The Red Rooster nr Brighouse where it's a regular. And I mean to make the pilgrimage soon.

Barry has had a couple of Marble recently and there's 2 more on the way:
