I'm sorry for jumping in on a Pony thread, but 15 Stockport Harriers and 8 Ponies sounds a bit to me like a Stockport Harriers "A" Team and a Stockport Harriers "B" Team topped up with guest Ponies and 3 that will be disappointed.
Aren't you better off just going all out for 1 Bona Fide Ponies Team? If you get over subscribed, some of you have options to run with clubs so that should work out better and you then have that authentic Pony team.

but there's no such thing as a Bona Fide FP team
we're not a real club, so we have to be "composite" anyway (i.e. ineligible for prizes/leg records)
we're not that bothered about being "authentic" either
we'll be quite happy to welcome Guest Ponies for the day
we may even lend them a decent vest :wink:
whatever happens we'll be sure to have an enjoyable day :thumbup:
