I'm hoping to be on Scafell Pike around 1pm, so I might well see you there - have a good day out everybody, and I'll definitely be there in August for the race.

Looking at the group and assuming a 'mixed' pace I reckon if you all leave Rosthwaite at 10:15 you should be able to get the cowbells and picnic out
on Scafell pike ready for Geoff.

    Thumbs up Re: Borrowdale 07

Don't want to miss out on a reccie but my left achilles is stiff when I walk never mind run - will try an easy run this weekend & make a decision 1 way or t'other next week.

I am definately not doing it, the reccie or the race. End of story, no trying to convince me either. So I won't be there, good luck to the rest of you.

    Graeme,
    You dissapoint me.
A man of your means will get round nae bother.
If you are concerned about route finding, I'll give you some hints.
I hope you don't think you aren't fit enough, it's all in the mind mate.
You can do it with a bit of self belief, don't psyche yourself out.
I still hope to see you there.
    Dave.
