I was intending on heading over to Crowden tomorrow morning on a Trigger reccy can I expect to see a bit of snow? That will make things more difficult.

Gorgeous run in the dark last night.

Head torch hardly needed. The moon was bright enough to cast a shadow.

    hi Pat

Certainly a fair amount of snow on the tops, it's patchy though so you can weave through it but expect the cloughs and groughs to be choked up. Watch out for the dams they may be covered over and not frozen underneath.

A wild and windy run along the Ure and round the wetlands with a couple detours to dodge floods. It was far better outside than it sounded from my living room. Exhilarating!

I managed to get out at lunchtime for a little x country 5 miler 850' run during a break in the weather. It started hailstoning again just after I got back so my timing was spot on
