Bit of a different loop than normal, from the nick, following the tour route to CP4, then straight up to the trig, up the trod you usually come down on the tour, down to the spring, then follow path down towards downham path, but cut back up the trod that people use to descend after the stile, up and over stile, down past the shelter then cairn, to the memorial, cut back across towards main path, then back to car at the nick.
Was great in the snow and low visibility!
Sounds good did you go to CP4 on the reverse FT route or the normal route via reservoir/geronimo ?
Excellent and your starting point meant no faffing about on the track up to Pendle!
Aye, I always park in a little 'layby' just after the cattle grid on Sabden side heading up, that only caters for 2 cars, perfect route on and off Pendle.

Years ago in my pre-fell running days I used to do a road race that started at the top of that hill and went down through Sabden round some roads and then back through Sabden and had a great finish back at the top of the hill again!
