Snow??

Mike can you give us lakeland snow reports HERE please? It was quite handy having people up there giving the 'lowlanders' some idea of how accessible the fells were.

Quite dramatic here just above Ambleside - very strong gusts at times, constant rain, Rothay Park is half under water, all the snow on Wansfell has been washed away, the road past the Low Wood Hotel is apparently under a foot of water ......

We had our running club pre-xmas curry last night & I received an email late afternoon from a club member based in Glenridding saying there was no way they could make it down as Kirkstone Pass was closed due to the snow and Lake Road itself very dicey, it now appears that if they had made it down they'd have different type of fun today getting back again!

The weather in Saigon has been beautiful this week. Well above 30degrees C every day but not too humid and no snow. I think I might feel a bit cold when I get home on Saturday morning. Brrrrrrr :closed:

There's plenty of unpacking, furniture moving and bed building to do; that should warm you up!

I've just been walking the dog, & it's been sleeting & snowing on us, at sea level in Cheshire.
