Not this time SS - but hopefully in my new house I will be a step closer to being an actual fell runner! So... maybe next time![]()

Nearly came along but was out on Pendle on Saturday and had skinfull on the night time!
How was the run?
Look forward to having you along soon then OHW!
Bloody tough Hursty. Forgot water which meant had to miss last climb up Big End. Still 2,000ft in 7.5mi. Was very tired afterwards.

Looks like I may be heading up again early Friday morning if you're interested?
Should be around for a run or twoOriginally Posted by ukhursty

Looking to head up to Pendle early Friday morning c7:00 for a gentle trot round. Got someone else joining me already. Feel free.
Good to see you are back running SS  I was looking at your track and it took me a couple of minutes to work out your "figure of eight" round the top of Pendle. I have not been running myself much lately for one reason or another so I will be trying to get back into it after this weekend. I noticed you had picked up a bit of interest on Twitter for the CTJM sessions as well.
Yeah, it's just a wee bit convoluted that route, but it does the trick. The trick being to chuff you well and truly up!
Despite 'interest' this Friday'll be the first time anyone's joined me for a long time! Look forward to seeing you again soon though
Edit: forgot to add, now meeting at Barley car park at 6:30. Up w/ headtorches in time for sunrise w/ any luck.

Hi SS, whereabouts in the south (assuming your name is still an accurate indication of your location) do you travel from? The commander in chiefs' parents live in Pendle, so I'd love to work out if regular trips are possible.
Sorry TC, I'm an ex-pat Southerner, and live but a short 5mi run from Pendle. Holla if ever you're up visiting CinC's folks tho', and I'll see if I'm around to meet up with you for a run![]()
Ah shame; you've done what I'm trying to do now by the sounds of it, though I want to move back up north (born and bred on the pennines)! I'll give you a shout as and when I'm up - as long as you're not really fast.
Around on Boxing day? Fancy the Winberry Naze dash?
