BG 2012 Recce's....

Planning on doing legs 1 and 2 together one day mid to late January (subject to slightly iffy ITB). Ideally mid-week, but possiby weekend. Anyone fancy a good day out and sharing lifts between Keswick and Dunmail, let me know!

Well, am back but can't say it's with a bang mate .... more of a little pop if I'm honest Am planning out next year's training over the next few days, would be good to see what you've got in mind for recces and we can maybe sync up every now and again if you fancy it? I can get the odd mid-week day off if it that works for you.

Ditto. Am up all week from monday with the aim of wandering around the lines. I'll be doing a mixture of walking/running most of the route (might skip the road sections around Keswick) with my mutts - a black/white & tan collie and a heinz sandy coloured mutt with a curly tail and white pop socks, say Hi if your passing. Some of the sections I'll be doing in both directions and checking out the options, obviously company welcome. Camping just south of Keswick - not entirely sure where as it'll depend who lets us in. May also be quite visible in the cafes in the local area - carbo & caffeine loading obviously ;-)

Intending on getting up once a month to continue clocking the miles. Sometimes coinciding with events like Dunnerdale in Nov.

Aiming at a late June 2012 crack at it (assuming my knees hold together)

I'm up from Sunday to Monday with my hound (Weimaraner). Probably staying in a YHA either in Keswick or the Borrowdale valley. I admire your pluck camping in these gales.

I'f much rather go our with some company on Monday if you don't mind me tagging along. For Sunday I've planned on doing Leg 1 if you want to join me? I know the final leg perfectly if you want some guidance.
