Surely there is no "beyond rock n roll" or even "Beatles era"

No. When I reached my 30s I thought perhaps I should stop.

Mojo? Reminds me of Moby and last time I was in New York (ho hum) I was hanging around in the NBC studio in Rockefeller Plaza (as you do) and there were all these girls going giggly for a bald dwarf who was standing shoulder to shoulder next to me (as he would).

It was Moby. I gather he is a popular musical artist?

So never let it be said I don't have street cred. I'm not just about Sun records you know!

One cannot really compare music of the 40s and the 50's but to listen to Roy Brown (he wrote it) and then Elvis singing the same song is a revelation. Similarly I consider Reconsider Baby to be the finest track Elvis made for RCA and if you listen to Lowell Fulson's original (he wrote it) you realise that Elvis could transform an OK song into something sublime.
The whole of the Elvis is Back LP on which RB is on is grossly underrated, there are some cracking tracks and some good sax work by King Curtis on a number of tracks.
