Yes! It is weird, as from there you can get out of London quite well for some good riding...
Mind, I am reduced to RP for a few laps each morning when working there and shall be foudn there again next week... And like you, I find every time I am there, traffic is worse... and I go early in the morning!

Going out west with Twickenham we never really properly got out into the country to be honest. That's one thing about south-west London: there's a lot of it.

Having a rest day today
Extended commute today. 20km and a decent amount of.climbing as usual on the way in, then rode to the in-laws after work. 33km, mostly flat (downhill on average) in 1hour6 min. Pretty happy with that as I had to check the map a few times.

Perfect day for riding today here too, mild, sunny, not too windy... Pity I have to work during the day
Tonight I have to decide... do I go out on the road with lights for a couple of hours, or do I go and sit on the rollers for an hour?
Road every time out of those two! Never understood the whole rollers/turbo thing myself (but that could be because I've never properly used them)
Got home too late to dare go out on the road, and bailed out on the trubo/rollers option, doing my tax return in stead and a double trac session tomorrow!
20 miles pootling about the Solway and over the new Carlisle by-pass bridge over the Eden!!....not today tho, it was Sunday!! Got back in the dark!
Two hours' spin last night, steady aerobic work.
Another hour coming tonight: 'Anaerobic intervals' - erk.
