Re: Early morning runs - a was

We had a bright idea last night, thought we'd set the alarm and go for a short run before work this morning in the lovely countryside, what could be better?!

Unfortunately it didn't go to plan, the alarm went off, OH muttered his legs were a bit achey and i moaned my back wasn't good, so like a couple of geriatrics we huddled back under the duvet and had an extra half hours sleep

Early morning runs have done me no harm. Just put my running stuff on now before I get in bed to watch BB. Saves me a few minutes in the morning hunting for gear to run in. (Note- I havent got my running shoes on in bed)

Running in the morning, making the day a two run day helps when you need to increase mileage.

Sleep? Couldn't you think of anything else to do?
