I thought I'd be kind and let you know that entries for the 2012 Edale Skyline will open on Thursday 12th January at midday.
Download a form at the skyline pages of www.dpfr.org.uk and don’t worry if you can’t access the dpfr website today as is being ’spring cleaned!’

At the risk of repeating myself - you find that it is there on Thursday 12th of Jan at about noon.
I've planned it for then as John the webmaster is having a tidy up of the site and it has been a bit unreliable over the last few days. He works very hard to maintain the dpfr website and I didn't want to put him under additional pressure to 'fix' it - he does a great job on an entirely voluntary basis.
this has meant that I've not been able to update the website for the time being, but thought I'd let people know through here and facebook.com/edaleskyline and @edaleskyline what is happening. there is plenty of time to get your entries in...
the form and race info and requirements have been updated so all entries will need to be on this year form.

some sensible editions this year allowing substitutions and having a waiting list. No excuse for not getting in.

The race is indeed a bargain but I'll point out now that parking is likely to be expensive... and possibly more expensive for single occupancy cars. I hope to balance this by charging full cars very little (or maybe nothing) but need to work out the costings for this.
the Parish Council own the station car park which we hire and use this to generate income for local charities so basically the car park money is going straight to them. If you car share (as we should all do anyway) it will still leave your race day spending at bargain levels.
