I had a 7m headtorcher taking in Hackfall Woods and the frosty follies and trees at night were magical but blooming heck..the ground is sooo hard. Its been boggy for weeks and now the ruts are like rock as I found out when I fell down them!

Good dark Peak run with a few guests last night, over Alport with a trip to the castle, the last time I was up there there were four of us and it felt a bit of a squeeze on top, last we had around 30 on the top....!

Good club run out last night, particuarly enjoyed the return leg on the beach with a long stream of lights straddled out behind.

Think it's just hinting at being light again when I finish work, ahh, I miss daylight during the week!

Forecast was torrential rain tonight. So I was well chuffed with clear skies albeit very windy. Club run up Middleton fell from Barbon. Cracking grassy descent!
