    Hey Splatcher,

Thanks for the mathematical analysis which has confirmed what i always expected............you guessed it! i'm average!

    Still had a good day

though![QUOTE=Splatcher;462127]Well it looks like I'm going quite a bit slower than last year, so I'll have to get my act together. Of the top 70 finishers in the long race, I found 33 who did it last year as well. 22 were slower, 10 faster, & 1 had the same time. On average they were just under 3 minutes slower this year. So 13 of my 16 minutes slower than last year is down to me. Oh well, better get out training in the morning.[/QUO

Steve, you need to do the sprint version, that way you'll be home before everyone else and all the associated clutter in the hall ;-)

I do not deserve all the comments. There is a certain lady called Carole in the kitchen at the hall who spends many hours baking and cooking prior to the event and who along with the other ladies and a few chosen men never stops all day of the event. Fancy washing up all the crockery and the cutlery for 450 meals. I steer well clear.

Big thanks to Carole, the ladies and a few chosen men:thumbup:

And Alan, if anyone contacts you about some lost LaSportiva Crosslites and socks, i have collected them, and they may have mine.

I agree, Alan, you don't deserve ALL the comments. Carole is an unstoppable force of nature and if she was paid even the minimum wage for all the hours she puts into this event I think she'd be a millionaire! And we shouldn't hold you responsible for the Calderdale mud either. But you certainly deserve lots of thanks.

They belong to Jane Woodburn on [email protected] She has yours. You can get treatment for stealing ladies clothes.
