Well done that man. It's only a fleeting glimpse. Plays piano for Patty a lot. You get a MoM pint at the next race I run...that you also run. It'll probably be Windmills Whizz for me.

Just a minute! His name is in the credits.

Dom wasn't born when Ian was in his pomp.

It's a fair point, almost well made. I spotted the name in the credits and guessed that was who MoM was referring to.

He did well to know who the hell Ian McLagan was then.

By the way Graham, did you see/hear the Charlie Feathers number I put up for you?

    Yup.

I once saw a TV programme which included an interview with an aged CF and I recall the sub-text was "could he have been as big as Elvis?"

Listening to their versions of "I Forgot To Remember..." (which Feathers co-wrote) answers the question.... (aka "the Carl Perkins question")

Sounds like a subtext contrived for television. Having said that, I prefer Charlie's version of "I Forgot...". Wasn't he sweeping the Sun Studios floor at the time?

My favourite version of "Promised Land" is Johnnie Allan's....he was never in danger of being bigger than Chuck or Elvis mind.
